The Tunkhannock Borough Municipal Authority (TBMA) supplies water and wastewater service to Tunkhannock Borough and parts of Tunkhannock Township. It is managed by a Board of five community volunteers who donate their time in service to the community. They are nominated by the sitting Authority Board, appointed by the Tunkhannock Borough Council and serve five year terms. Through the course of their term they make decisions concerning routine water/wastewater operations, endeavor to update and develop a better water/wastewater system while following the constantly changing rules and regulations governing its operations and balance a strict control over its financial resources.

The TBMA staff consists of trained and educated professionals in the water/wastewater field.
Manager -Roger Hadsall, obtained his BS degree in Environmental Science from Wilkes University. PA Licensed Water Operator– Class A, E– Sub Class 7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14. PA Licensed Wastewater Operator– Class– A, E– Sub Class 1,2,3,4. Roger has 25 years of experience in the field.
Assistant to the Manager -Betsy Brown, obtained her BA in Environmental Science from Wilkes University and an Associates Degree from Keystone College. PA Licensed Water Operator– Class A, E– Sub Class 7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14. PA Licensed Wastewater Operator– Class- A, E– Sub Class 1,2,3,4, Betsy has 26 years of experience in the field.
Office Manager- Luanne Snover, obtained her BS in Business Administration from Wilkes University and an Associates Degree from Keystone College. Luanne has 21 years of experience in the field.
System Tech II - John Algar - Started work with the Authority in January 2022. He obtained his DEP Water license February 2024, and will pursue training to obtain his DEP wastewater license.
System Tech I - Kevin Bohnenberger - Started work with the Authority in May 2022. He is being trained to develop skills for both the water and wastewater systems.
System Tech I - Mykael Harvey - Started work with the Authority in September 2022. He is being trained to develop skills for both the water and wastewater systems.
